Meet Eric Caulfield, M.S., CCC-SLP
My love for helping children and young adults who experience speech, language and communication needs has been a lifelong passion of mine. Watching a child’s determination turn into success is beyond gratifying for me.
My experience is in treating children and adults with various communication challenges like speech and language disorders, social communication disorders, selective mutism, and acquired and traumatic brain injury.
I was called to specialize in treating children with verbal apraxia of speech and children with autism that have language challenges, early on in my journey. I am comfortable in any clinical setting including schools, private offices and outpatient rehabilitation centers.
Having earned my Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA., I had the honor of presenting my Master’s thesis to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association conference in Nov. 2022.
I furthered my education by continuously keeping aware of the newest research and best practices in the field. I also trained in the use of the Visual Immersion Program, a research-based program out of Boston Children’s Hospital that is designed to support autistic children in language learning.
Today, I am the founder of my own private practice that offers high quality, online speech therapy sessions to kids and teens. We use evidence based, theory driven therapy that is designed to be engaging, positive and rewarding for every child.
Our goal is to design customized therapy plans that can be practiced at home or on the go. We also keep smaller caseloads, allowing us more quality time to invest in the children we serve. We are confident that this approach builds stronger relationships with the children and their families and gives them the full attention and meaningful support that they need and deserve.
